I’m Nick Bumgardner also know as the Grill Bum. For the last few years I have been wanting to create a venue to talk about my grilling and BBQ. So I decided to start Grill Bum. I have been a life long fan of BBQ.

I grew up in Owensboro, KY. The towns claim to fame is that it is “The BBQ Capital of the World”. Some of my earliest memories are of eating at Moonlite BBQ https://www.moonlite.com and at Old Hickory https://www.oldhickorybar-b-q.com. Since then BBQ has been in my blood.

So join me on my BBQ and grilling journey. I cook at home in my backyard. I cook with a Traeger Pro 22, Kamado Joe Classic II and a Weber 22in Kettle. I will have grill and gadget reviews, recipees, cooks, and visits to my favorite BBQ joints. It should be a fun adventure and I can’t wait to get started.
